How to clean blankets?
Use soap for delicates like "Woolite". There are special soaps that dissolve easily and don't foam too much, which also makes it easier to rinse. As an alternative use a small amount of liquid dish soap or hand soap (less than a tablespoon).
For best results or if you're not using liquid soap, add the soap to the water before you add the blanket so that it completely dissolves. If you just pour it on top, it might get stuck in one part of the blanket.
Rinse at least twice. You don't want soap irritating you if you have sensitive skin.
